1) PAYMENT PROCESS AND SECURITY

Payment is made in the last step of the purchase process, after entering all the card details and clicking "Place order". Payment for your order can be made with:

If you select payment by card, after validating your cart by clicking on "Place Order", you will be redirected to the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) payment page to ensure optimal security in the transaction. If you select payment with PayPal, you will be redirected to the PayPal page to proceed with the payment. Please note that the payment page does not belong to UMOA, and no payment information will be transferred or stored by UMOA. After completing the necessary steps in either of the two options, you will be redirected back to the UMOA website, where you will see a message confirming your order. At this point, the amount of your order will be deducted from your bank account or PayPal account, and you will also receive an order confirmation email.

By clicking the "Place Order" button, you confirm that the credit card is yours or that you are authorized to use it. However, if our security department suspects any anomalies or fraud, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction for security reasons. UMOA reserves the right to provide payment guarantee and protection against fraud.

Any order implies a payment. In the case of fraudulent payment, appropriate legal actions will be taken. Online payment with credit/debit card is made through the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security system, which encrypts your banking data when transmitted over the internet. Credit cards will be subject to verification and authorization by the issuing entity, but if such entity does not authorize the payment, we will not be responsible for any delays or non-delivery, and we will not be able to formalize any contract with you. For security policy reasons, we verify all orders paid with a bank card.

In general, UMOA also accepts cards that use the Verified by Visa secure payment system or the 3-D Secure system.

3-DSECURE Y VERIFIED BY VISA

To offer you a secure transaction, UMOA may activate the 3-D Secure or Verified by Visa protocol for authentication purposes. After entering your credit card details, you may be redirected to your bank's webpage or online application to authenticate that the buyer is the legitimate cardholder.

 2) REFUND PROCESS

In the case of a physical return, please note that it may take between 3 and 5 business days for the package to reach our facilities. Once we have received your return and verified all conditions, we will proceed with the refund within 1 to 2 business days. Depending on your bank, the refund may take 5 to 7 business days to reflect in your bank account.

3) ATTENTION, DO NOT SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Please remember that UMOA will never send you an email or call you to ask for your UMOA account password or to verify it, nor will we ask for your bank account numbers or credit card information, or any other personal information data. If someone contacts you or if you receive an unsolicited email requesting any of the above information, do not respond and immediately report it to UMOA so that we can investigate the incident.

Identifying Fake Emails

Ignore any email you receive that requests personal information or redirects you to a website other than umoacosmetics.com, or asks you to make payments outside of umoacosmetics.com or a specific bank's payment gateway, as it could be an attempt at identity theft (spoofing or phishing), and should be considered fraudulent.

UMOA only uses the "@umoacosmetics.com" domain for emails. If you receive an email with a different format, you can be sure it is a fake email. Some phishing emails may contain links to websites that use the word "UMOA" in their URL, but will redirect you to a completely different website. If you hover your mouse over the link, you can see the associated URL, which will likely have a different format than the genuine UMOA websites. If you still click on a phishing email and are redirected to a page that resembles "Your Profile" or any page asking you to verify or modify your personal information, ignore it and consider it fraudulent.

If you receive such an email, please write to us at hola@umoacosmetics.com providing as much information as possible and attaching the email you consider fake or simply forwarding it to our email. This way, you are helping us locate its origin.
