Goji berries deserve the category of super energizing and antioxidant due to their natural content of vitamin C, beta-carotene, flavonoids such as quercetin, and carotenoids such as zeaxanthin, which is protective against blue light. These compounds are capable of capturing superoxide radicals, inhibiting the oxidation of skin lipids and enzymes expressed in the process of cellular aging. Known as a natural botox, Velvet Hibiscus' hibiscus flower extract has a high content of antioxidants, capable of keeping collagen and elastin degradation at bay. Centella asiatica is among the most commonly used ingredients in Korean cosmetics. It helps to improve the tensile strength of our Goji Nectar Reviving Serum with a direct effect on the visibility of wrinkles and expression lines. A powerful cellular regenerator and stimulator of collagen synthesis, it contains triterpenes in its composition that give it reparative properties, favoring epithelialization of the skin and improving the appearance of acne marks and scars.

The ginseng root in our Velvet Hibiscus Eye Serum contains numerous bioactive compounds that help increase oxygenation of the skin cells, especially a complex of polysaccharides and glycoproteins capable of forming a superficial film that helps smooth the appearance of expression lines. Ginseng is especially useful when applied to the eye contour area due to its anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to stimulate blood vessel circulation, helping to reduce inflammation in the area and reduce puffiness and dark circles.

Both serums that make up the VELVET GOJI ANTIOX DUO contain vegan hyaluronic acid with high and low molecular weight. These two different molecules have different penetration capabilities for a combined and comprehensive moisturizing effect. The hyaluronic acid with higher molecular weight remains in the less deep layers of the skin, where it attracts and retains water, increasing the level of epidermal hydration. Thanks to its film-forming and emollient properties, it forms a thin protective layer that reduces water evaporation. On the other hand, the hyaluronic acid with low molecular weight penetrates into the deeper layers and has a filling function that helps reduce wrinkles by promoting the synthesis of natural hyaluronic acid in the skin.
